Canyon is a gorgeous, well-bred, 4-year-old AQHA registered palomino gelding with the kind of personality everyone hopes to find in a young horse. He is calm, quiet, and respectful on the ground, with all the right buttons under saddle and the kind of mind that makes him easy to enjoy. Canyon is fantastic around children.

Our 8-year-old daughter can load him in the trailer, walk him all around the property, and handle him confidently while he follows her around respectfully. Our 10-year-old son rode him for the entire video, and Canyon took great care of him while still showing the training and responsiveness that make him such a fun horse to ride. The arena is where Canyon really shines. He would be a fantastic prospect for gymkhana, ranch riding, western dressage, or just about any direction someone wanted to take him.

He rides nicely on a loose rein, rates his speed really well, has a nice slow jog, and a smooth rocking-horse lope. He picks up both leads, side passes, carries the flag, and has the foundation and willingness to continue developing in a number of disciplines. Out on the trail, Canyon is brave, willing, and straightforward. He crosses water, downed logs, and other obstacles easily. He has a ground-covering walk and is comfortable getting out and seeing the world. He has been exposed to weed whackers, barking and snarling dogs, cows, cars, trucks, donkeys, dirt bikes, quads, UTVs, tractors, and farm equipment.

Canyon is the kind of young horse that feels wise beyond his years. He has a quiet mind, a willing attitude, and enough training to be useful and enjoyable right now, while still having the age and ability to continue growing into something really special. He is gentle and kind enough to be trusted with our kids, but handy and responsive enough for an experienced rider to appreciate.
